1. Introduction
Welcome to Pugs & Hugs! These Terms & Conditions outline the policies governing our pet sitting and dog walking services. By booking our services, you agree to these terms.
2. Service Agreement
- A formal agreement must be completed before services commence. This includes details about your pet(s), feeding routines, medical needs, and emergency contacts , along with any other requirements for my visit such as watering plants and bringing in mail etc.
- Bookings are only confirmed once a 30% deposit is received at the meet & greet or upon later confirmation of your booking .
3. Pet Care & Responsibilities
- All pets must be registered with a vet and up to date on vaccinations.
- Any medical conditions, allergies, or medications must be disclosed before service begins.
- Clients must provide all necessary accessories, including harnesses, leads, muzzles (if required), and any special dietary needs.
- Pugs & Hugs will follow agreed-upon feeding and exercise routines, but adjustments may be made based on the pet’s well-being.
4. Emergency Care & Veterinary Treatment
- In the event of illness or injury, we will contact the owner and their registered vet immediately.
- If urgent treatment is required and the owner cannot be reached, Pugs & Hugs reserves the right to seek veterinary care at the owner’s expense.
- All vet bills are the owner’s responsibility, even if treatment is required while the pet is in our care.
5. Cancellations & Refunds
- Cancellations must be made at least 7 working days before the service start date to receive a full refund.
- Late cancellations (less than 7 working days) may forfeit the deposit at Pugs & Hugs’ discretion.
- In the event of last-minute cancellations due to emergencies, rescheduling may be possible but is not guaranteed.
6. Liability & Safety
- Pugs & Hugs will take all reasonable care to ensure the safety and well-being of pets. However, we cannot be held responsible for injuries, illnesses, or accidents that occur due to pre-existing conditions or unforeseen circumstances.
- We do not accept aggressive animals. If a pet displays aggressive behaviour, services may be terminated immediately, and the client will be responsible for arranging alternative care.
- Clients must ensure their home is secure if Pugs & Hugs is required to enter the property for pet care services.
7. Data Protection & Privacy
- Personal information collected for bookings will be used solely for service-related communication and will not be shared with third parties.
8. Amendments to Terms
- Pugs & Hugs reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any significant changes before their next booking.
